History of Aquamoves

Aquamoves is located at the picturesque Lake Victoria precinct in Shepparton Victoria. The state-of-the-art health and fitness club was officially opened by Victorian Premier Honourable Jeff Kennet, M.L.A, Premier of Victoria on 8 August 1997.

Since then, the centre has won commendation awards for its unqiue architecture in 1998 from the Royal Australian Institute of Architects, business acheivement awards in 1998 and 1999 and the Roejen Services Facility Management Award in 2003  from the Victorian Aquatic Industry Council.

The award recognised Aquamoves' approach to a combined management model with contracted and council staff and in 2004 Aquamoves won the LG Pro award for excellence for innovative management.

In 2005 Aquamoves became a completely council managed facility offering a wide range of health and fitness services.
