Learn to Swim Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to your new/current membership at the time of purchase and for the duration of your membership. Renewing members will be required to agree to new terms and conditions.

  1. A membership may only be used by the person completing the Membership Application Form. Under no circumstance may a membership be shared. If a member is found to be sharing a membership then a centre ban will be enforced on all parties involved.
  2. Your membership card must be presented to reception staff on entering facility. If you require a replacement card, an $8.00 fee will apply
  3. Children members under 5 years old are required to wear a pink wrist band when using Aquamoves aquatic facilities. Children must be accompanied into the Centre and, if necessary, in the water by a responsible parent/guardian over 16 years old. Children must stay within arm’s reach during recreational activities.
  4. Children members under 10 years old are required to wear a yellow wrist band when using Aquamoves aquatic facilities. Children must be accompanied into the Centre and, if necessary, in the water by a responsible parent/guardian over 16 years old. Children must be constantly and actively supervised. Parents/guardian must position themselves to have a clear view of the child with no physical or structural barriers between them and the child/children. Active supervision means being free of distractions such as mobile phones or reading a book or magazine.
  5. Children members 10 years old and over. Parents must use their knowledge of an individual child’s swimming ability and general development to determine the level of accompaniment required.
  6. If a parent/guardian is in the water for a class, or watching another lesson, another child under 10 years old (in their care) cannot be in the water, or outside the water at Aquamoves, without parent/guardian supervision.

All Learn to swim adult members will be issued with a reusable S/S/S band. If you require a replacement band, an $8.00 fee will apply.
