From Monday 4 December, a Council engaged contractor will be completing minor kerb and footpath works along Tom Collins Drive, adjoining the Aquamoves car park.
These works will provide important kerb and footpath modifications to the existing centre median, in preparation for upcoming river bank stabilisation works scheduled to occur in early 2024.
The completion of the ‘December’ footpath and kerb modification works will intend to avoid the full closure of Tom Collins Drive in 2024, allowing Aquamoves patrons and all users of the Victoria Park Lake precinct to continue use with minimal disruption.
Aquamoves will remain open throughout all works, although the car parking area and Tom Collins Drive will see disruptions to regular car park use and traffic flow. Please plan your journey and allow extra time to get to your scheduled classes.
Council request that users please obey all traffic control and signage. These measures are in place for the safety of workers, pedestrians and all users of the area.
