Aquamoves Team Member Kyrra Rea has been nominated in the 'Customer Service Award' category for outstanding achievement.
Aquatics Recreation Victoria (ARV) hold annual awards for outstanding achievement in the aquatic and fitness industry. You may remember our very own Bec Parris won the Group Exercise Instructor award last year!
Kyrra joined Aquamoves in 2013 at 16 years of age after being attracted to the role because she loves meeting new people and helping wherever she can.
Kyrra has developed to become a key member of the Customer Service team, exemplifying the high level of customer service we strive to achieve at Aquamoves. She makes an invaluable contribution to both the Aquamoves customers and team through her leadership and positive can do attitude.
Kyrra places high importance on great communication skills and the need to make everyone who comes through the door or makes contact with the centre feel welcome and their needs understood. She understands that new members often feel intimidated and shy and so having someone who is welcoming and easy to talk to is really important in forming a welcoming experience and encourages people to feel part of the centre and want to return. She also makes an effort to recognise and appreciate returning members.
Kyrra demonstrates a commitment to quality customer service through actively listening and asking questions in order to thoroughly understand the needs of the customer. This in turn enables her to pick up on queues from existing and potential new customers and understand their needs and provide the best possible service.
Kyrra considers the Aquamoves center a family. She loves the environment, the people and feeling part of the team. Although she is studying in a different field (Agricultural Science), she sees herself as always continuing on at the centre in some capacity well into the future.
