Greater Shepparton City Council’s Yoga in the Park program is proving to be popular, with more than 380 participants attending the first three sessions.
The program is part of Council's Activities in the Park program, which has been funded by Parks Victoria and aims to provide Greater Shepparton residents and visitors the opportunity to take part in activities within parks, reserves and bushland in Greater Shepparton.
Council's Leisure Facilities Officer David Quinn said due to the success of the program, the decision was made to continue for another three weeks.
"The program has been well received by the community so far and I encourage anyone who hasn't taken part but would like to, to come along to the next three sessions," Mr Quinn said.
"We will also be rolling out the yoga program and other fitness programs in parks across the small towns in Greater Shepparton next summer."
The program will run on 17, 24 and 31 March at Victoria Park Lake.
