It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Marcus Cook as our new Centre Manager.
Marcus actually commenced his working career at Greater Shepparton City Council many years ago in the Recreation/Leisure Services team and has also been a regular user of Aquamoves services and programs.
Marcus comes to us with a degree in Recreation Management and has also undertaken a number of other business related courses. Prior to his appointment as our Centre Manager, Marcus was working as the Senior Manager – Education and Training with Berry Street.
Marcus is very involved in the local community and says he is looking forward to ensuring Aquamoves consistently delivers best practice standards for its users.
“Aquamoves has a clear vision to be the hub of health and wellbeing in Greater Shepparton” Mr Cook said.
“We aim to achieve this by continuing to motivate and educate our community to enjoy healthy, active, happy, and connected lives.”
Marcus will cover previous manager Sarah Lewis’ maternity leave for the next 12 months.
So, welcome back Marcus!
