The winners of Aquamoves 12 Week Kick Start Challenge were announced this morning at a special event at Aquamoves.
Aquamoves Centre Manager, Ms Tracie McNab, congratulated all the participants and said it was pleasing to see so many people become involved.
“This is the third year we have conducted the challenge and it has proven to be a strong method of encouraging people to develop healthy lifestyle habits,”
Ms McNab said.
“Winners were judged on their effort and attendance and how close they came to achieving their fitness goals.”
“Many participants from previous years have now become regulars at Aquamoves,” Ms McNab added.
The 12 Week Kick Start program ran from July to September, with more than 40 participants involved. Participants were encouraged to undergo a fitness assessment at four week intervals to monitor their progress.
The winner of the challenge was Norman Briggs from Shepparton. He received a queen size bedding package from the Bedshed, a three month full centre membership from Aquamoves and a voucher from Occasion Studios.
Runner-up male winner Shane McCarthy, from Mooroopna, received an Elite Tanning package, a Remington sports foot massager from Betta Electrical and a nutrition supplement from Zest CafT & Juice Bar.
