Greater Shepparton City Council is seeking feedback on key themes for the 2013-2017 Council Plan.

The themes have been identified based on the extensive data collection project carried out within the municipality in July and August last year. Council are now calling on the Greater Shepparton community to get involved again to continue to shape the development of this significant plan.

Greater Shepparton Mayor Jenny Houlihan said we wanted to find out if we had gotten the themes correct or if we had missed anything.

"We want people to tell us if they see their own ideas reflected in what has been identified," Cr Houlihan said.

"Council staff have extracted these themes from more than 2,400 surveys received last year.

"Council staff will again be out in the community in their green shirts seeking your feedback on the themes identified. If you have an event and you would like our staff to attend, let us know.

"Feedback regarding the themes will be used to develop the draft Council Plan which will be made available for final consultation during May before being adopted in June.

"I would also like to thank everyone who has had input into this project up until now. The feedback we have received has been invaluable. We strongly encourage all members of the community to review the themes and provide comments to the Council."

You will be able to have your say via Council's website until 29 March.

A draft Council Plan will be available for further comment in May.
