The Greater Shepparton City Council’s 2015-2016 Fees and Charges are due to be adopted by Council on 23 June 2015. If adopted there will be a 3.5 per cent increase to Aquamoves fees and charges from Wednesday 1 July 2015.
Aquamoves' operational and maintenance costs continue to rise, increasing the expense of supplying our diverse range of services, facilities and programs. Passing on some of these costs through small fee rises is necessary and responsible management and allows us to maintain the centre's long term viability.
There are a number of exciting projects happening at Aquamoves over the next 12 months with a combined total of $2.49 million being spent on improving facilities for our customers. Some of these projects include the car park redevelopment, car park lighting upgrade, change room upgrades, pool deck resurfacing and Splash Park shade sail installation. Aquamoves' fees remain competitive with other regional centres and we continue to provide services, facilities and programs that compare favourably with leisure facilities all over Australia.
Aquamoves will continue to provide one of the largest group fitness timetables in Victoria and is committed to investing in the renewal of the facility and equipment.
