Greater Shepparton City Council’s Activities in the Park Program is into its final weeks, with a number of activities still to take place.
The Twilight Stroll will be held on Friday 15 March, leaving from Aquamoves in Shepparton and the Chinaman's Gardens in Mooroopna from 5.30pm.
Take the stroll to SPC Ardmona KidsTown and on arrival enjoy free entertainment including jumping castles, games and activities, musical entertainment, miniature trains, health checks, BBQ and much more.
The third Fishing in the Park session will be held on Friday 22 March from 6pm, at Victoria Park Lake.
People are encouraged to bring their fishing rod, bait, chairs and a picnic and enjoy the lake environment.
Council's Healthy Communities Officer Carmen Nicholson encouraged people to get involved in the events.
"The ever popular Twilight Stroll is on again, with something for the whole family. Kids can ride their bikes or scooters while their parents enjoy the stroll to KidsTown," Ms Nicholson said.
"Fishing in the Park is a great way to enjoy Victoria Park Lake and spend time with family and friends.
"The Activities in the Park program has been very well received and we will shortly start planning for the 2013/2014 program of events.
"I would like to thank everyone who has been involved in running these events, including our wonderful volunteers. Everyone has done a great job."
More than 75 activities have been held since October as part the Activities in the Park program. The program will finish at the end of March.
