Yoga’s health benefits have been known to humankind for thousands of years.

The practice improves flexibility, balance and posture, builds muscle strength, increases blood flow, boosts immunity and even assists with learning to focus and develop better sleep.

As part of this year’s World Yoga Day on Wednesday 21 June, Yoga teachers from across Shepparton are teaming up with Triple M Goulburn Valley to raise funds for ‘Give Me 5 for Kids.’ The appeal provides money to Goulburn Valley Health; specifically helping the region’s sick and injured children with the much needed funds going towards equipment for the hospital’s Child and Adolescent Unit and the Special Care Nursery.

You can support this great cause and enjoy the benefits of Yoga when Shepparton’s yogis unite for two special events, sending their positive energy to those who need it most.
