LIFE SAVING VICTORIA TEACHES CHILDREN HOW TO LOOK AFTER THEMSELVES WHEN GOING SWIMMING

Life Saving Victoria education instructors taught children important water safety skills as part of the Open Water Learning Experience at Aquamoves on Monday.

The team will be in town for three weeks, working with 2200 students from primary schools across the region.

One of the first schools to benefit was Grahamvale Primary School, whose students took part in a number of different exercises that covered real-life situations.

They were also taught the Respect The River message and how dangerous inland waterways can be.
