This year’s Shepparton MS 24 Hour Mega Swim is set to be bigger than ever with more than 100 participants expected to take to the water on Saturday and Sunday.

Funds raised by the MS 24 Hour Mega Swim offer people living with multiple sclerosis the chance to follow a dream through the MS Go For Gold Scholarship Program.

The program aims to provide people living with the disease in Victoria, NSW, Tasmania and the ACT the opportunity to fulfil their potential in life by pursuing aspirations in the fields of employment, sport, travel, education or the arts.

Funds also go towards financial support programs and services to benefit people living with MS.

Those eager to sign up for the swim are encouraged to do so now and spectators are also welcome to come along and enjoy the event.

The Mega Swim will include a free barbecue dinner on Saturday night and a free breakfast on Sunday morning.

  • The Shepparton MS 24 Hour Mega Swim will take place at Aquamoves, Lakeside Dve, in Shepparton from noon Saturday to noon Sunday. To participate or donate to the cause go to www.msmegaswim.org.au or phone 1300 733 690.
