Aquamoves update from Centre Manager, Marcus Cook.

The improvements keep coming at Aquamoves!

The Aquamoves Team is dedicated to continuing the development of Aquamoves as a bright modern facility that delivers exceptional customer service and a fantastic leisure and fitness experience for members and guests. With this aim in mind we have a number of exciting projects about to commence.

Becoming the Health and Wellbeing Hub

Aquamoves is striving to deliver on our strategic goal of becoming Greater Shepparton’s health and wellbeing hub. So we are very excited to announce that the construction of two allied health suites within the Aquamoves building will commence on Monday 25 July.  Further information will be provided as the rooms near completion, with the aim of delivering additional wellbeing services to centre members and the broader community.

Raymond West Building Given New Life

Visitors to the centre will have noticed that external rendering and painting works to the Raymond West outdoor pool building are nearly complete and have provided the much loved rooms with a more modern look and feel. Internally, meeting and storage rooms, as well as office space for our friends in the Active Living Team are in their final stages of construction, providing considerably more contemporary working environments.

The Painting Continues

Further painting works will continue throughout July and August, with the gym, centre entrance, hallways, RPM and Group Fitness Studios all receiving some much needed attention. During this time disruptions will be kept to an absolute minimum and any potential changes to group fitness class times will be communicated to members.

More New Equipment for the Gym

The Aquamoves Gym will also receive further upgrades during the coming months, with the purchase and installation of more cardio equipment including treadmills, elliptical trainers and stationary bikes. The original white pin loaded fixed weights will also be replaced with modern machines that will allow users to complete a greater range of exercises.

We are really looking forward to seeing these improvements being completed over the coming months and are excited by the enhanced experience this will provide you with! If you have any questions about any of these projects, don’t hesitate to speak with our team.
