Aquamoves’ indoor pool hall officially reopens today after several weeks of redevelopments.

The re-opening of the facilities includes the indoor leisure pool, 25-metre pool, spas and hydrotherapy pool.

The concourse coating of the pool hall has been resurfaced using an epoxy seal called Monotek, that will ensure a much safer surface by reducing slips and falls.

Also during the course of the project, upgrades have been made to the wet area change rooms, including new showers, basins, toilets, seating, hand dryers and a revamp of the internal floors, walls and ceilings.

The completion of the redevelopments will result in improved and more modern facilities, with an increase in safety for members and visitors.

Term one swimming lessons are also set to start today.

The wet area change rooms and sauna are still under redevelopment, however, the project is running to schedule, with these facilities due to be finished early this month.
