Greater Shepparton City Council’s April meeting will be held in Mooroopna on Tuesday 16 April.
Greater Shepparton Mayor Jenny Houlihan said this was the first of two council meetings which would be held outside Shepparton.
"As part of our community engagement program we will be also holding a meeting in Tatura later in the year," Cr Houlihan said
"This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in Council to come along and learn how decisions are made.
"There will also be a bbq held at the end of the meeting to give people the opportunity to chat with councillors in an informal setting."
The meeting will be held at the Mooroopna Hub, 23 Alexandra Street, Mooroopna from 5.30pm and all members of the public are welcome to attend.
