Everyone knows the benefits of being fit, but working out where to start your fitness journey can be tough, especially when you’re returning to exercise after injury or you haven’t worked out for a while.

Aquamoves Centre Manager Lindy Baldi said a new class at Aquamoves in Shepparton has been developed with just that dilemma in mind.

"LES MILLS BODYVIVETM is a low-impact group fitness program that provides a complete combination of aerobic exercise for heart fitness, and resistance training together with elements of Yoga and Tai Chi for targeted strength, stability, stretching and mobility work," Ms Baldi said.

"Using a range of simple props including Pilates balls and tubes, LES MILLS BODYVIVETM participants follow a fully trained instructor through 55-minutes of specially-choreographed moves set to uplifting classic hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s.

"We are very excited at being able to permanently offer BODYVIVETM to members and guests at the centre.

"BODYVIVETM is a wonderful new program that offers individuals with an alternative low impact exercise program.

"The program is also suited to rehabilitation patients and women who are pre and post natal."

The launch for LES MILLS BODYVIVETM will be launched at Aquamoves on Friday 16 January at 10.15am, followed by a morning tea.
