New websites for Aquamoves and the Shepparton Sports Stadium were launched on Tuesday 23 August.
Creator of the websites, Michael McCorry, says they use the same accessibility features as the Greater Shepparton City Council website.
“Large font type, printer friendly options and easy to read paper versions were just a few of the features on the main site that were very well received,” he says.
“We used this feedback and incorporated it into the Aquamoves and Stadium websites as well.”
The Aquamoves website features timetables, membership details, fees and charges and the monthly newsletter. A ‘Health and Wellbeing’ section, with healthy recipes and tips, will be added to the site soon.
The stadium website contains information on programs, including Kinder Gym and Aussie Hoops. It also features online enrolment forms for sporting programs and booking forms for facilities.
“The online system has been built from scratch, enabling the focused delivery of online information for the community,” says Mr McCorry.
“It also creates an integrated approach for accessing services offered by the Greater Shepparton City Council.”
