Aquamoves is adding exercise phenomenon, ‘Pilates’, to its group fitness class program, to help ‘build a better you’ throughout the winter months.
The new program will commence on Wednesday 20th April at 11.30 am, followed by another session on Thursday 21st April at 6.30 pm.
Centre Manager, Ms Leanne Mulcahy, said Pilates is an alternative form of exercise that sculpts and slims your body.
“Pilates is excellent for rehabilitation and relaxation, long-term health benefits and the leaner, longer look”, Ms Mulcahy said.
“It can also improve your aerobic capacity, posture, circulation, energy and stamina.”
"The aim is more to strengthen and stretch the body, without adding bulk.”
“Pilates is not just exercise, however. It is a series of controlled movements engaging your body and mind, and supervised by Aquamoves’ trained instructors,” Ms Mulcahy added.
The program costs $98.00 for ten sessions, or $73.50 for ten sessions if you are an Aquamoves member. Conditions may apply.
