The new outdoor area at Aquamoves, including the new splash park and leisure pool will be officially opened on Thursday 3 December.
Upgrades to the outdoor areas at Aquamoves, include a new beach entry leisure pool, splash deck, with many interesting features and landscaping including sandy beach area, barbecues and shade.
Greater Shepparton Mayor Geoff Dobson said the new facilities would provide activities for the whole family.
"The outdoor area perfectly complements the existing facilities and positions Aquamoves as a fantastic attraction for residents and tourists," Cr Dobson said.
"Families can come along and spend an entire day at Aquamoves, enjoying all that is on offer."
A $1 million contribution for the project was received from The Department of Planning and Community Development under the ‘Better Pools' Program.
Aquamoves' new outdoor facilities are open daily from 9.00am to 9.00pm in school holidays.
