While the Victorian Premier and Chief Health Officer have provided advice regarding the opening of aquatic facilities, Aquamoves will not be re-opening on Monday 1 June 2020.

Currently we are working toward parts of our centre possibly re-opening in late June, however a definite date will be announced in the near future.

In order to re-open facilities such as the pools, there are certain measures that must be in place to ensure we adhere to the Chief Health Officer requirements and this is a process we are currently working through.

The health and wellbeing of our community remains our priority, hence it is imperative that strict health measures are in place prior to the facilities once again being available.

While our centre has been closed, we have used the opportunity to undertake maintenance that will be completed in readiness for our future re-opening. Once these works are finished, the pools will then be reheated slowly in anticipation of your return.

During our closure, we have all been powerfully reminded of the strength in community and that connection truly does mean everything. We’ve really missed having you in the centre and we’re excited to be active with you again, albeit 1.5 metres apart.

When Aquamoves does re-open, please note memberships will remain frozen and access to our centre will be provided via a sessional based online booking and payment system. We are confident this will offer the most value and flexibility and we want to re-assure members that plenty of notice will be given prior to any future un-freezing of memberships.

We understand you will want to get back to your daily routine, enjoy all parts of the centre and connect with other members of the Aquamoves Family again. Some of these things may not be possible right away, but we will all work through it together as we adjust to the ‘new normal.’

We look forward to updating you again soon as more information becomes available. In the meantime, don’t forget the health and fitness support we currently have for you:

Stay safe, keep well and be kind to one another.
